Public Register of Estate Agents and Salespersons : |

From 1 January 2011 onwards, all persons performing estate agency work must be registered with CEA and have written agreements with their Estate Agents before they can practise. Consumers should engage only licensed Estate Agents and registered Salespersons for their property transactions. Visit the Public Register at www.cea.gov.sg for the list of licensed Estate Agents and Salespersons registered with CEA. |

NEW Service : Housing Infomap |

Housing Infomap is a new initiative by Housing@eCitizen. It leverages on Onemap services (http://www.onemap.sg) to provide map-based Housing-related information in one convenient portal. You can do the following on Housing Infomap:
1) Find out where are the Town councils and HDB Branch Offices with the Infomap
2) Search both HDB and Private Property transactions for the past 1 year using various parameters such as current location map, postal district, housing type, date range and transaction prices. All selected transactions are displayed on a map with information such as transacted prices, floor area, floor level range, flat type, date of transaction etc.
3) Find driving directions from one place to another.

Flat Owners to Register Subletting of Rooms with HDB |

From 1 Feb 2010, flat owners who sub-let rooms in their HDB flats will have to register with HDB within 7 days of doing so. They are also required to notify HDB when they renew or terminate the sub-letting of rooms, and when there are changes to their sub-tenants' particulars.
